Our founders, Burton and Maxine Rice have owned this location since 1962, when it was the original Whitmanhouse restaurant and gift shop. Our building is the oldest known structure in North Truro, originally starting out as a school house in the 1800's.

We own our real estate and inventory. If needed we can obtain 1000 quilts or more! This translates into the buying power that we can pass on to you. Show us any other shop which can say that! We care about our customers!

We offer free shipping, a great layaway plan and we stand behind the workmanship of our product because we do not believe in passing on extra costs to our customers!

We our proudly owned by the Burton and Maxine Rice Foundation. This charitable trust was formed after the untimely death of Maxine Rice our founder so her legacy could live on. Burton Rice has always been a believer in giving back to the community and those in need. The foundation has a specific goal to fund local charities through financial gifts, raffles and education.
